Congratulations for Clearing SBI CLERK PRELIMS and Better luck to those who missed this time. Remember this is Just Preliminary Exam and Mains ( Fate decider ) is still there.
Strategy to Clear SBI CLERK MAINS :
1. First of all Check previous year Memory Based Exam of SBI CLERK MAINS or IBPS CLERK MAINS ( JUST google memory based Question paper of SBI CLERK MAINS PDF or you will get the same from gradeup app as well ). Analyse the complete Paper. You will get an idea in which direction you should start your preparation.
2) Practice - Give Daily two - three Quizzes from Adda247 of SBI CLERK MAINS or Even SBI PO MAINS of Each Subject. This way you will get an idea about Kind of Questions which you can encounter in SBI CLERK MAINS Exam.
3) Mock Tests : You Can refer any of the following three sources.
a) Oliveboard
b) Practice Mock
c) Adda247
Now here idea is to practice well and adjust your mind to give exams of more than 1 hr Duration. Mains is nothing about speed . So suggestion is to give 5 Full Mocks. After that you can Just Submit Mock directly and then Analyse it properly. Remember Analysis is the Key here.
4) General Awareness and Financial Awareness : I would suggest to focus more on Current affairs only as it will cover almost 42 - 43 marks out of 50. For Current Affairs Refer HINDU REVIEWS BY ADDA 247 OF LAST 6 MONTHS i.e, From Feb to July. No need to Do any current affairs of August Month. Plus you can Refer Study IQ Videos ( 2 Videos Per Month Series ). Revise it again and again instead of Refering multiple sources.
Also Questions can be asked from GDP Projections , Sports , obituaries , Important Days , etcetera which no doubt can be covered from Hindu Monthly Reviews but if you want such data at one place ( it actually helps in cramming data) then you can Refer Gradeup tornado which they have released for SBI PO MAINS ( they might release it for SBI CLERK as Well but SBI PO CAPSULE will also work for the time being). Note that there is no need to do cover Gradeup tornado Completely as You have already covered Hindu Monthly Reviews. Gradeup tornado is only Meant for special data as mentioned above.
5) Plan out which type of Questions you should attempt and what to Skip. Analysis of Mock Tests will help you to decide this. SBI CLERK Mains Exam is all about Right Selection of Questions. So Learn to Skip Questions in which are not comfortable. Do all experiments in Mock Test and then Apply the optimum Strategy in Actual Exam
